Shooting senior portraits is always fun. Well, mostly. Usually senior shoots are in the fall before all the yearbook deadlines in the winter and I love the awkwardness, the bad skin, and the excitement they have for the upcoming year. I like to hear what colleges they’re thinking of, if they’ve been invited to homecoming, and what their favorite classes are so far. Very rarely do I ever get to hear updates on where they actually went or how they turn out — and after all, why would I? I’m just a photographer and a brief blip on the radar. However, this particular senior that I played peek-a-boo with came with an update. I do know she ended up in the medial industry, just finished her associates, is going for her bachelor’s, loves her mom, and is an all-around good kid.
