Meet Debbie Drum. Technically a New Yorker, Debbie and I played among the brick and urban feel of a hotel at a conference in Denver between her speaking engagements. Looking for a more industrial feel, we played among the brick and iron in our “faux New York studio.” This Amazon best selling author of Read Better Faster and Internet Business Insights can often be found in online videos and tutorials, but mostly I’ll remember her telling her author stories while sitting at the hotel bar. Cheers to city girls.
Meet Bobby. One of the pleasures I have when shooting authors is finding out what type of genre they write. I’ve met romance writers, children’s authors, business gurus and spiritual guides of every religion imaginable. This hand of this particular author pens horror stories. I have to admit that Bobby just may be my first horror author, and hopefully there will be many more like him in the future.
Meet Andrea. This gorgeous girl has a gift with words and a heart full of stories to tell. Taken in southern Colorado in a pasture underneath my favorite South Fork cliffs, there was the perfect combination of sunshine and fall leaves. Personally, I wish I could get slightly breezy days on all my shoots because all we seemed to do was laugh. This was one of the few shots captured that didn’t have windy giggles in it.
Meet Colorado author Lisa Reinicke. This amazingly sweet and energetic woman smiled excitedly as she was chatting me up about author photos at an author’s conference for published authors. As she was telling me about her four children’s books that were so near and dear to her heart, I realized that her mini shoot just outside the hotel complex was going to be delightful. Her latest and greatest book that just came out about a dinosaur named Bart is one for the Christmas gift list.
Meet Juanis. This fabulous author’s smile comes with an unbelievable story.
